Our School programme intends to raise students’ awareness of the broader implications of businesses on society and the environment, and how they as consumers and future business people can make socially responsible decisions.
The programme is directed at students from the various educational institutions from higher primary, secondary schools, Junior Colleges and International Schools. It can be tailored for different sizes of audiences and for a variety of time allotments. Content will be adapted to be relevant to and engaging for each audience.
Workshops 'BUSINESS SOCIETY and YOU'
Our series of workshops “BUSINESS SOCIETY and YOU” provide an introduction to relevant concepts in economics, businesses and sustainability. It makes use of games and an interactive case study for illustration and discussion.
With a customised set of theories, exercises and discussions, the workshops provide an excellent opportunity to engage students and help them understand the link between their studies and social responsibilities. The knowledge gained and self-reflection skills honed would also benefit students in their social-emotional learning.

Each workshop can be tailored to different sizes of audiences and customised accordingly to fit the profile of students. Schools can choose from several case studies provided one that would best suit and enhance their students’ learning.
Below is the framework of our 2.5-hour introductory workshop.
Part 1. Introduction to Basic Business & Social Responsibility Concepts
Before embarking on a highly interactive role playing discussion, students are first equipped with some useful concepts on business-thinking and insight into various aspects of social responsibility.
Part 2. Case Study & Role-play
The case study and role-play form the main component of the workshop. Students are given a problematic business proposition. In groups, students represent the different stakeholders who would be affected by the business decision. Through intra- and inter- group dialogue, workshop participants go on an intellectual journey to find solutions that would meet both business and social needs.
Part 3. Conclusion & Tips
In this section, we analyse and reflect on the dialoguing process and the workshop participants' new propositions. The workshop concludes with some tips for students to engage in a more sustainable lifestyle and selection of future employers.
