OIYP (Oxfam International Youth Partnership program) is looking for young applicants to be part of their programme on sustainability. Running from 2010 to 2013, the programme aims to train participants in becoming facilitators of changes, which will translate into social, economic and political improvements within individual communities, in regions and across the globe. It is based on major issues, such as Peace & Conflict, Gender Justice, Economic Justice and Essential Services.
Participants will have opportunities to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding and to talk and exchange with other young people from around the world.
Are you a young person who cares about what is happening in your community? Are you committed to working with others to overcome injustices? Do you want to learn from other young people working with their communities all around the world?
If you are between 18 and 25, living in rural or urban areas, you can apply to be part of the programme. For this go to http://oiyp.oxfam.org. Applications close on 31 of December 2009.
